North Coast Authentic Expression is organized by a group of friends with a strong interest in Authentic Relating (A.R.) who by happy coincidence find themselves living in the Coffs/Bellingen area. We have all experienced huge benefits from studying and practicing A.R., and now offer events in our home region and elsewhere for other curious explorers.

A combined self-discovery and social event. Explore exercises to develop relating skills, confidence, intuition, presence, & community. Meet others interested in A.R. Suitable for beginners, as long as you already know you enjoy self-discovery spaces. (As fun and social as this event can be, A.R. is about peering into our depths.)

These one-offs and short courses are mainly for people who have already attended some of our events. (Offering the convenience of connecting with a wide range of people, with no need to travel.) [However, we are open to consider new attendees with experience in A.R. in other workshops and courses.]

In the 1950s, Sanford Meisner invented a world-renowned authenticity-based acting training. After several decades, others began to realize that this wasn't only useful for actors, and began adapting the foundations for non-actors too. Our event is very easy-going and un-pressured compared to the acting-training approach, although this is still deeply-effective self-expression/authenticity coaching.
